Thank you for visiting our home on the Net, welcome!
We hope this site will prove to be an informative and attractive place to while away a few moments of your time. You will find information about the church here, what we do, why we do it, where God is leading us, and how you can find us and share fellowship with us,
and that's just for starters.
Enjoy your visit, and we hope that maybe, one day, we might extend to you a truly personal welcome at our physical home in Birmingham.
What's New on the site? New items have been added to the audio and images sections.
What's the next development? Aside from general updates we hope to be developing the Media section in the very near future, adding more pictures, sermons and other BCBCS material, so keep an eye out for new stuff soon!
The site is still being developed, and there may a few links which do not do what they're supposed to do, so please be patient and keep coming back to see what new stuff we have for you... Thanks

New for 2012
At BCBCS we believe God's Word needs to be central to our lives, and we want to encourage each other to read more, understand more, and allow it to shape our lives more. That's why we are going to take the E100 challenge throughout the first half of the coming year, inviting the whole family here to read 100 essential passages of Scripture, basing our preaching and teaching around them, and making them the focus of our small groups.
Night Shelter
BCBCS will be joining in partnership with a number of other churches and organisations this February to provide shelter for Birmingham's homeless community. Organised by Housing Justice and Thrive West Midlands the initiative will see churches open their doors in order to provide a safe, comfortable place for our guests. If you want to know more about the Night Shelters or want to know how to get involved then email: info@thrivewestmidlands.org. To view two recent newspaper articles about the Night Shelters click here for 'evening Mail' article (pop up), and here for 'Baptist Times' article (new window)!
